Since January, I’ve been working 2 jobs, managing 2 kids between sports, doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions. Our life has certainly been crazy—no question. My campaign position is coming to a head this week as we approach commitment weekend, and as an extra special treat, I have the privilege of singing at this weekend’s worship services. As I always do when I get the rare opportunity to sing, I create a rehearsal CD to listen to in the car. It just so happens that we are singing one of my favorite songs this weekend… Glorious.
Well my little Grahamer, who just loves music, has taken a liking to my favorite song as well… so now when we are in the car, he’s singing Glorious with me. In his cute little voice riddled with articulation issues, my almost 4 year old son is praising the Lord. The joy I get from hearing him sing covers a multitude of bad behaviors—when I’m having a particularly hard day parenting this child, I need to come back here and watch this video.
Only two words describe the feeling overflowing in my heart by watching and listening to him: Sheer Joy!
Enjoy
