Ah, here we are... at the end of yet another year. It seems like this one has flown right by! It's been a great year, with an even greater ending-- thanks to Geoff's new job and Grayson's poop!

We had a great Christmas-- we were super busy, but I like it that way. Mom and Bob's Italian Christmas Eve party was great, as expected. It was so nice having Joe and Mattia there for event. On Sunday, we went to Northpark Mall to see the trains, Grayson's favorite! This was my first year, his second, and he had a ball. On Christmas Eve, we all went ice skating-- Surprisinly, Grayson did very well! Just as long as he held onto the wall and someone's hand, he stayed on both skates. Geoff and I were a smidge shaky at first, but it was a lot of fun (mental note-- need to do more skating in 2008.) On Christmas morning, Grayson awoke to find all the goodies he asked Santa for in his stocking. Even now, we are still trying to find a home for all the wonderful gifts they received.

So, my cousin Joe was down for the holidays (along with his mother, Peggy and mom's cousin Pat)... and happened to mention that he and his girlfriend, Claire, are going on the South Beach Diet come January 2. It got me thinking, you know... I should look into that. The next day, I sent a very happy Geoff off to Half Price Books to find the book and bring it home. Of course, this wasn't a hard task for him... :) After reading it through and talking to Joe who is a second year medical student at Univ of Chicago, about it -- we decided to give it a whirl! As of today, Geoff and I are on day 5 without bread, pasta, rice or potatoes. I can hardly believe it I don't miss it. That in and of itself is a total stinkin' miracle. Who knew? Geoff and I have some serious poundage to lose-and we are well on our way.

Geoff's last day at WAMU is Wednesday- PRAISE THE LORD! Please be praying for his transition to Argo Data. The boys are out of school until the 7th, so I'm working from home until then. That's about it for us!

Have a Happy New Year!!
Molly
